Creation

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The Bible teaches us that God created everything, that He used 6 days for that process, and on the seventh day He rested. We are still governed by this division in time that we call a week.

In Genesis 1:26 we find that the God of creation is of a plural nature for he states “let Us make man in our own image.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God is eternal, He has no beginning or ending, He is not bound by time. When God made man in His Own image one of the qualities He passed on to His children. We are told that we have no ending. We will exist forever in either heaven or hell. The natural man is condemned to death, however Jesus has Power over death. Jesus is also the Creator.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Colossians 1:13-17 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

This Jesus Whom made the worlds, and has power over death is in control of all things.

The earth will exist in three different stages. One was the Vapor stage where the earth experienced no rain, but a mist went up to water it. The water that now resides on the polar caps was in the atmosphere shielding man from the ultraviolet light. This allowed man to live a very long time, in excess of 900 years. This also allowed the reptiles to continue to grow. What we call dinosaurs were reptiles that grew for many hundreds of years to great sizes.

The earth was much flatter at that time, however when the flood occurred the excess water from the atmosphere froze at the poles and the weight of the polar caps on the tectonic plates forced the mountain ranges to form. This is why you find seashells on the tops of mountains. The mountains were seabeds before the gravitational force on the polar ice forced the plates together and pushed the mountains up high into the air.

Genesis 7:20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

With the water blanket down the earth was able to change in temperature, based on the distance from the sun, to a greater degree. The equator is the closest point and the hottest, while the polar caps are the farthest away and the coldest. This was the second stage of our earths existence. When the lord returns we will return to the Vapor stage again for we shall rule and reign for a thousand years.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Isaiah 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

The main focus of Gods creation is mankind. Man was created in a perfect state, without sin. Man was to work for God in the Garden and obey the rules he was given. Man fell into sin by not obeying the rules and was evicted from the Garden.
