Daniel's Perspective

To present a clear representation of Daniel's dreams I thought it would be advantageous to try to view what Daniel told us through Daniel's eyes with added information that we now know today..

Ashpenaz, the prince of the eunuchs, was very fond of Daniel according to (Daniel 1:9) and the King was smitten by Daniel's wisdom. (Daniel 1:19-20) When king Nebuchadnezzar Had dreams that he was disturbed by, he inquired of his magicians, astrologers and sorcerers as to the dreams and the meaning of them.

Arioch, the captain of king Nebuchadnezzars guard presented Daniel before the king to tell the dream and the meaning thereof for if there was not found a wise man in the kingdom that could interpret and tell the dream then all the wise men were to be killed.

Little did Daniel know that this would be the beginning of his training in the understanding of end time events. Daniel inquired of God and presented his findings before the king.

The dream used a statue of 4 sections to define 4 separate kingdoms that ended with the end of time. What stood out in this prophetic sequence of kingdoms was the final kingdoms destruction as the God of Heaven sets up His everlasting Kingdom. Notice in the interpretation that Daniel used 2 verses to identify Nebuchadnezzars kingdom, 1 verse to explain the next 2 kingdoms, 6 verses to explain the fourth and final earthly kingdom and then 2 verses to inform us of God's everlasting kingdom.

In the first year of Belshazzar the son of Nebuchadnezzar, (according to Daniel 5:22) Daniel had a night vision of 4 kingdom, now keep in mind that Nebuchadnezzar is dead and gone and this is a prophetic dream dealing with future events that are unrelated to king Nebuchadnezzar.

We are told that Daniel sees 4 great beast come up from the sea the first is a Lion with eagle's wings. I found that the symbol for NATO is in fact a lion with eagle's wings. This was established at NATO's conception and continues to be their symbol today.

The second beast Daniels sees is a bear with 3 ribs in its mouth. I found that Russia and its communist unions has been commonly referred to as the bear and the 3 ribs in its mouth are the Baltic states.

This beast would be directly related to the red horse in Revelation.

The third beast is a Governmental system that encompasses the whole world it does not exist as of yet. It will be directly related to the black horse and this beast will institute the one world monetary and governmental system.

The fourth beast has iron teeth and ten horns and a small horn with eyes ( the antichrist) This is directly related to the pale horse of Revelation.

Daniel watches as this last beast is crushed by Christ and the everlasting kingdom of Jesus Christ is set up the books are opened and judgment is dispensed.

Daniel is perplexed by the fourth beast and the horn with eyes. (The antichrist) Gabriel tells Daniel that this small horn with eyes shall make war with the saints and prevail against them (kill them) until Christ returns.

Daniel 7:25 tells us that the antichrist will kill the saints for a time and times and the dividing of time. This was and old way of saying a year plus two years and a half of a year or three and a half years. (42 months)

Two years later Daniel then has a dream of a ram and a goat. The ram we are told is the nations of Media and Persia (Iraq & Iran) and the goat is the realm of Grecia or NATO- American alliance. Daniel states that the realm of Grecia comes from the west on the face of the whole earth not touching the ground. So to Daniel this was a flying goat from Greek descent residing in the west and yet all over the earth.

The war was a two part war according to Gabriel, that first is a smaller horn / war between the realm of Grecia (NATO) and Media (IRAQ), the second war is much larger / horn and is between the realm of Grecia (NATO) and Persia (IRAN).

After this war the Realm of Grecia (NATO) is broken and 4 kingdoms arise from this alliance. Out of one of these 4 kingdoms the little horn (the antichrist) comes forth. This little horn (antichrist) is the prince of the covenant with the Jewish nation who shall discontinue the daily sacrifice and turn on them at the end of his reign.

The question is asked as to how long a timeframe will this vision encompass concerning the sacrifice and the abomination of desolation and the answer was 2300 days.

In Daniel 8:24 we are reminded that this Antichrist shall destroy the holy people and then in Daniel 8:26 the parallel connection between the two dreams is drawn. Gabriel associates the evening and the daytime dream together verifying that they are both speaking of the same time frame.

Daniel in chapter nine informs us that he understood the prophecy of Jeremiah and how Israel would serve in bondage for 70 years while Jerusalem lay waste. At this point Daniel begins to intercede for his nation before God.

Gabriel returns to fill Daniel in with more clarity concerning his two visions that dealt with the Antichrist's taking away of the sacrifice, the destruction of the temple and the Lord's return to begin the everlasting kingdom. Gabriel tells Daniel of the 70 weeks in which the temple will be built, used, desecrated, destroyed and then cleansed one final time to usher in the everlasting kingdom of Christ.

We know that the Jews are to sacrifice for 42 months while the gentiles have the outer court and all of Jerusalem. The two witnesses also will be present during this 42 months, however at the end of the antichrists reign he will kill the witnesses from God and as their bodies are displayed in Jerusalem for 3 and a half days the Antichrist will confirm his covenant with the Jews for those 3 days. When the witnesses come back to life the covenant will be broken mid week and the antichrist will enter the Temple and sit in the throne declaring his own deity.

At this point the antichrist kills all the Jews he can and we know from Daniel chapter 12:11-12 that he only has 45 days (the balance of the 70 weeks) to find them before the Lord returns With Michael to put an end to his reign.

Chapter 11 is the most complicated chapter in the Book of Daniel. It appears to be Gabriel again further expounding on the final power struggle between 4 kings during the very end of time. This messenger who appears to be Gabriel reminds Daniel of Nebuchadnezzars dream and how there was yet 3 more Kings of Persia to stand and the fourth shall be far richer than the rest. With all that oil money I can see how this king would be the richest of the four. This fourth Persian king stirs up all the Muslim nations against the realm of Grecia (NATO) and NATO is subdivided into 2 major divisions (the kingdom of the South and the kingdom of the north).

There is a marriage between the two kingdoms for the daughter of the kingdom of the south will be given to the king of the northern kingdom. One of her relatives will come to the northern kingdom with an army and take the precious things. The king of the northern kingdom shall conquer the southern kingdom and then die.

A new king shall stand over the northern kingdom and the conquered southern kingdom. It is said that he is a raiser of taxes and he shall only last a few days.

Finally the Antichrist stands up (the prince of the covenant) to reign. We know that he only has 42 months to reign. At the end of his reign the kings of both the north and south turn against him and he desecrates the temple. In Daniel chapter 11:41 we are reminded that the Jews have a safe zone to run to in Moab and Edom (Jordan Mountains).

Chapter 12 opens with deliverance from heaven as Michael stands up to deliver every one written in the book and many that sleep in the dust are risen to everlasting life. Daniel is wanting more information about these dreams and in verse 9 of Daniel chapter 12 Daniel is told that this information is closed up until the time of the end.

Timing

Biblical reinforcement of doctrine is developed when multiple scripture references all teach the same thing. This is a rudimentary principal employed by all Bible scholars when developing teaching according to biblical doctrine.

This discovery of parallel time references located in both Daniel and The Revelation bring Modern seminary professors to a pivotal decision in their acceptance of prophetic teaching.

Should they continue to teach the doctrine they have been taught concerning the future prophetical events or will they accept and embrace this Prophetical truth.
