Strong Delusion
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion , that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. The Apostle Paul, writing to the church at Thessalonica warned them that at the end of time the antichrist would appear to everyone. Now the reader must keep in mind this letter was written to the church, warning them that the rapture would not occur until the antichrist appears and sits in the seat or throne in the temple in Jerusalem, claiming to be God.Paul was very concerned that they would be deceived. He further states that that day ”The coming of the Lord for the church” would not happen until the Antichrist has a seat in the temple and claims to be God.“ Let no man deceive you by any means”; this deception Paul speaks of is connected to the timing of the Lords return. Paul prophetically knew that in the end of time a lie would be sown that would deceive the people into believing that the believers would be taken before the antichrist has his 42-month reign. The first time Jesus came with forgiveness and love, He was kind and caring. His second coming is with wrath, anger and judgment. Jesus has always allowed His followers to suffer even as He was our example in suffering. Why , Why, Why do all the churches teach the same thing? Why do they all believe and teach that Jesus will sneak in and take his people and then the evil one will come?Ask your self this question. If you hear a lot of bad things are coming your way, how inclined would you be to part with 10 % of your pay? Churches would fold across America if the truth were taught. People don't want to know the truth. They want someone to tell them pleasant things that set their hearts at ease. Are all the preachers liars? I will let you answer that one your self But consider this verse:2 Corinthians 11:3-4 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.Paul was speaking of the preachers that came into the churches after he had left them. You can see that even as Satan will be presented as an angle of light to the world. Paul also tells us that the ministers of the antichrist will appear to be the great preachers of the day.I don't recommend that you go to war with the preachers of our day because they preach this lie of the timing of the rapture. What I do suggest is that you try to inform the people of the churches by turning them to this website. Don't take the heat for believing the truth. Just let people know that you found this website and you wanted to know what they thought about it.Remember that alot of the preachers have been deceived and will come around as things unfold. If your pastor has ministered the word to your heart then honer him as you would an apostle. Don't let this issue seperate you from the flock.I have lived with this information for over 23 years and the resistance is incredible. The preachers will fight you and it makes more sense to just quietly spread the information around in a way that does not do you harm. People will treat you like a unbeliever over this one issue.
