Tracking Time Through The Trumps

 

 

With the opening of the seventh seal in Chapter eight, we will find time relevant as we examine the contents of the book that the Father has given to His Son. As we progress through the trumps you will notice the divisions, or grouping of trumps; Trump 1-4 are grouped together and consist of destruction upon our planet. Trump 5 opens the bottomless pit and the beginning of a five-month Scorpion plague, which the angel terms as, the first woe. The time period between the sixth trump and the seventh trump is a extended time period that culminates with the Lords return in the clouds to rapture His saints, to pour out His wrath and to end the antichrists 42 month reign.

Daniel had a dream concerning the end of time, of a ram and a goat; He was told that the dream had an appointed time, and that was the end of time. During the dream Daniel was informed that his visions length would be that of 2300 days.

Daniel CP 8:16 &17 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell on my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision .

Daniel CP 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation : for at the time appointed the end shall be .

Daniel CP 8:13&14 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto the certain saint which spake, How long shall the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, unto two thousand and three hundred days ; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

We will focus in on Daniel and his dreams in the next chapter; however, to allow scripture to interpret scripture, we will consider this time factor of 2300 days while examining the trumps.

Revelation CP 8:1&2 And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of a half hour. And I saw the seven angels, which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

With all seven seals removed, there is cause for silence in heaven; access has been finally granted to the mysterious books contents. From this point on we will record any mention of references to time . The focus of this book shall be to reveal Christ's triumphant return for His church, and so it seems fitting that the angels of the seven churches should be the trumpeters sounding the final warnings before the Lords return for His church. Another angel in verse three is given incense to offer up with the prayers of the saints, unto God. After this the angel takes fire from the alter of God and puts it in the censor and cast it into the earth.

Keeping in mind that the seven angels have been given their trumpets, and the book has been opened, God takes time out to smell the offerings and the prayers of the saints that should suffer during these final days. After God has considered the prayers of the saints, the angel fills the censor with fire from the alter of God and sends it into the earth, thus signaling the beginning of the end. The seven angels prepare themselves to sound.

Revelation CP 8:7-9 And the first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and a third part of the trees was burnt up , and all the green grass was burnt up . And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and a third part of the sea became blood. And a third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life , died ; and the third part of the ships were destroyed .

In modern times it is not hard to see how all this destruction could result from nuclear war, how a third of the trees and all the grass could be burnt up, how a third of the ships in the sea could be sunk and the fish around the vessels should die also. It would seem that the war is localized to one part of the earth thus accounting for only a third of the sea, and a third of the fish, and a third of the ships. Most of the American interests are in the Middle Eastern oil reserves. Notice that there is no given amount of time that must pass before the fulfillment of these first four trumps, thus declaring the efficiency of nuclear war.

Revelation CP 8:10&11 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. And the name of the star was called wormwood; And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

In the third trump, we find that the water has become undrinkable. Many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter; today armed forces have chemicals that poison water supplies, poisons that kill people, animals, insects, and the environment. This war shall be ruthless with the use of nuclear power, chemical power, and no respect for the earth. This mentality reminds me of Saddam blowing up all the oil wells as he left Kuwait. If he could not have the oil, he did not want anyone else to have it. So also shall this war be likened, although, the weapons shall be poisons and fire.

Revelation CP 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and a third part of the sun was smitten, and a third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as a third part of them was darkened, and the day shown not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

With all the burning on the earth, with a third of the trees, and all the grass burnt up, and with all the other burning from the effects of war, the atmosphere shall be hindered of letting light shine in.

When the earth's atmosphere is full of smoke, then we will not be able to see and this shall alter the length of visibility during the day and so the day shall not shine for a third part of it. The night also shall be affected, for the moon and the stars will only be visible directly overhead, but the horizons shall be dark because of the smoke, And so the moon and the stars shall not shine for a third part likewise.

Revelation CP 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound.

There is no mention of time through out the first four trumps, and knowing how war is, all four trumps could be accomplished in as little as a few days. The first four trumps paint the setting for the events that must occur here after. As we examine the fifth trump, keep in mind that the world has just witnessed a major world war, such like has never been witnessed before. The world is now searching for hope, searching for a savior.

Revelation CP 9:1-6 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto earth: and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth; and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpions, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it: and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

When the pit is opened the world is a changed place, such terror has only been imagined through movies, and now is playing live on your local street. Notice that this is not the wrath of God, but rather the beast that lives in the pit, and walks to and fro, and up and down in it just like the beast claimed before God in the first chapter of Job. It is time for the beast to be set at liberty, though only for a season, we will prove that the length of his liberty shall equal our reference in Daniel of 2300 days.

The pit now being opened, one must consider other scriptures that allude to this same event.

Revelation CP 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

We find that the beast must ascend from the pit, and this could not happen until the pit was unlocked.

We also find our first mention of time here in the fifth trump, and the time is that of the length in days the scorpions shall have to perform their work. Five months or 152 days.

The saved have nothing to fear from the scorpions, for they are under strict instructions to sting only the unbelievers who have not the seal of God in their foreheads. When a person is saved they are sealed with the spirit and therefore are protected by God from these scorpions.

Ephesians CP 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation : in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

Ephesians CP 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, Whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption .

So you see we are sealed by God at the time when we believe and have no need to concern ourselves with the plague of scorpions.

Revelation CP 9:10-11 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name apollyon.

Notice also that this is not a plague sent from God, but from the god of this world, from the pit and the devil is their king. He is binding his people into submission under his authority.

2Corinthians CP 4:3&4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost; In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them.

Yes the god of this world will ascend out of the pit.

Revelation CP 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. When they behold the beast that was, and is not and yet is.

Revelation CP 9:12-16 One woe is past; and , behold, there come two woes more hereafter. And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden alter which is before God. Saying to the sixth angel, which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, And a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of horsemen two hundred thousand thousand. And I hurd the number of them.

The sixth trump period is an extended amount of time, because we know that at the seventh trump, time will end as we know it. At this point the world has unified its monetary and governmental system; the army is for the purpose of implementing the one world money system. The army will slay a third part of men on the earth (over 1 billion) that will not receive the mark of the beast. Notice we have mention of another amount of time. a day a month and a year = 396 days plus the 5 months =152 days total = 548 days

Chapter ten opens with an angel whose feet are planted on the sea and dry ground, and he, having a book in his hand; cried out, and seven thunders uttered their voices. John was about to write down the contents of the seven thunders when he was told to seal up those things that the seven thunders uttered. This angel begins speaking, concerning his task in chapter 10:5

Revelation CP 10:5-7 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, and swear by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there shall be time no longer . But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound; the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

This angel is there to call the first fruits home; his message even defines his task. His message speaks of the last trumpets call, and the ending of time, and the mystery being finished. He wants to assure us that the end is near. John is given the little book and told to eat it. He is instructed that he must prophesy before many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.

It almost seems that John will be one of the two witnesses sent from God to prophesy for 1260 days clothed in sackcloth. Chapter eleven opens with John being handed a rod to measure the temple of God. This in it self implies that the temple of old Jerusalem will be rebuilt; however there is no mention of how long it took to build. We have another mention of time in the two witnesses that shall prophesy 1260. 1260 + 548 = 1808 total days

There is mention of the temple being built in Daniel CP 9:24-27 and the number is 70 weeks or 490 days Let us add together all this time 152+396+1260+490=2298 days only two days shy of 2300

As we begin in chapter eleven it is important to note that the antichrists 42-month reign and the 42-month witness of God's two chosen prophets happen to be the same 42-month period. God would not leave the world without a witness and with most of the believers having been slain for their faith these two are a constant reminder to the earth during the antichrists reign. Notice that the court outside the temple is given to the hands of the gentiles, while the Jews control the inside of the temple area where the sacrifices are made. This is because there is a contract between the Jews and the antichrist, allowing them to sacrifice.

Revelation CP 11:1-3 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood saying, rise and measure the temple of God, and the alter, and them that worship therein. But the court which is with out the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecy a thousand two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth.

These two prophets are a thorn in the side of the antichrist, and a constant reminder that he has only a short time to reign. The prophets have power to cast fire down on earth, stop the rain, turn water into blood, and smite the earth with all plagues as often as they wish. When they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall kill them and hang their bodies in Jerusalem three days.

Revelation CP 11:5-8 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy, and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our lord was crucified.

The whole world shall party and give gifts to each other seeing that their god overcame the two prophets sent from heaven. This will happen at the end of the 42 months, however after three days the Lord shall call them into heaven. During these 3 days the antichrist will confirm the covenant he has made with the Jews. The 2 witnesses resurrection will cause the world to loose their faith in the antichrist and the Jews will realize the antichrist is not the Messiah. This in turn shall cause the antichrist to enter into the temple and claim to be God. He will also break the contract he had with the Jews and try to kill all of them. At this point the Jews that listen to the word are to run to the mountains of Moab and Edom.

Revelation CP 11:9-12 And they of the peoples and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell on the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. After three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation CP 11:15-18 And the seventh angel sounded ; and there great voices in heaven, saying The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and His Christ ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God. Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the Nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

At the point where the seventh trump sounds the whole earth knows time has come to an end. There is no more life for those who chose not Jesus, and the time of rest has come for those who have chosen Jesus as Lord. This is the point where Jesus has seized control over all creation, raptured up his saints and dealt His wrath out to the world.

1Corinthians CP 15:51&52 Behold, I shew you a mystery ; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump , for the trump shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Revelation CP 14:12-14 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus Christ. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saieth the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. And I looked, and behold a white cloud , and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man , having on his head, a golden crown, and in His hand, a sharp sickle .

Chapter 12 is a mini vision for John while he is in heaven. John sees a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. There is also mention of a crown of twelve stars. This could only be the twelve Jewish tribes and the church in a unified figure. Remember God is timeless and His vision in this case has taken on that characteristic, for in Gods eyes the church has been grafted into the vine that the twelve tribes had just been severed from.

Galatians CP 3:28&29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Jesus Christ. And if ye be Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Romans CP 11:19-21 Thou wilt say then, the branches were broken off, that I might be graphed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest He also spare not thee.

The woman is about to bring forth the child, (Jesus) when the dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns; draws with his tail 1/3 of the stars of heaven (1/3 of the angels) and cast them to the ground. The woman brings forth the man child (Jesus) to rule the nations with a rod of iron, and the child was caught up to heaven, to Gods throne. At this point 2000 years pass, the antichrist is cast out of heaven and the woman is fled to the wilderness where she is fed 1260 days.

Then it is mentioned that Michael and his angels fought the devil and his angels in heaven. Michael prevails and the serpent is cast back to the earth to persecute the woman and her seed, for the devil knows he only has a short while (42 months). Protection and refuge is found for the woman (the church) during the devils 42 months.

Revelation 12:16-17 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

It would seem that the world helps protects the believers from the antichrists army. Deductive reasoning would teach us that the Devil could not ascend into heaven to war with the angels, until he is released from the pit. Not all the believers are protected, considering verse 11.

Revelation CP 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Daniel CP 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end. Because it is yet for a time appointed.

In order to understand this flow of information, one must step back and take a broad look at what is being said, and how everything said, reinforces itself. To begin, we started with the first four trumps that harm the earth, in chapter eight. Then in chapter nine, the pit is opened and there is a 5-month plague of scorpions, and then the army empowered to impose worldwide control of people. The time allotted to prepare this force was, 396 days.

In chapter ten we find an angel with a book and a promise of the seventh trump. Chapter eleven informs us of the rebuilt temple and the prophets that proclaim the Lord for 42 months while the antichrist is empowered for his 42 months. We also find the seventh or the last trump in chapter eleven.

Chapter twelve of the Revelation covers more than 2000 years in this mini vision, which includes Christ's birth and resurrection to the antichrist's reign and his killing of the saints.

Chapter 13 concerns itself with the beast, and his 42 month reign. Notice in chapter 13 we are told a lot about the antichrist.

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom . Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast : for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

People through time have tried to discover just who this man is. I cannot tell you who this man is, however I can tell you what the mark is. The number of the man is told to be 666 but this man is different from all men and his name is different also. His name is actually a symbol. The symbol is that of 3 six pointed stars in a row. The six-pointed star is the darkest symbol of the occult and is used to worship the dark forces.

Although it is commonly referred to as the Star of David, it is actually the star of a Remphan and the symbol used by the Jews when they were in rebellion from God.

Acts 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan , figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Many of the secret organizations of today use the six-pointed star to facilitate their communion with the dark powers. This enables them to appear Christian while the source of their power is strait from the pit of hell.

In Chapter 14 we find an angel preaching the Gospel to the whole earth.

Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people , Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Finally the Lords return in the clouds to receive His saints and to judge the earth.

Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

In chapter 15 we find the Saints in heaven on the sea of glass watching the wrath of God being poured out on the earth.

Revelation 15:1-2 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God . And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Chapter 16 is the pouring out of the vials of the wrath of God. Chapter 17 and 18 bring us more detailed information of the beast and the woman who rides on it.

Chapter 19 reminds us of the Lord's second coming on the horse and we shall ride with him to rule and reign on earth.

Revelation 19:11-14 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Review: What have we learned in this chapter?

•  1) Daniel had a dream of the end of time, and his 2300 days can be accounted for in the trumps.

•  2) Time can be tracked in revelation, beginning with the opening of the pit to the Last trump.

•  3) The first four trumps destroy a lot of the earth from war between the free world and the communist.

•  4) Smoke in earth's atmosphere will block the sun, moon, and stars light so that you will only be able to see them when they are directly above the part of the earth you are standing on.

•  5) The beast ascends out of the pit after it has been unlocked in the fifth trump.

•  6) Jesus returns once in the Clouds Rev 14:14 and once on a White horse Rev 19:11

•  7) The Last trump Rev 11:15 is the end of time when Jesus returns in the clouds to rapture His seed, and to deliver His wrath to those who remain on earth.
